Nailspiration

Hey guys! So as I was browsing through tumblr earlier, I came across a picture of a girl wearing an ombré sweater which really caught my eye. It gave me the inspiration to do some pastel ombré nails thus the birth of this post lol. I love pastel colors because they give such a feminine and refreshing touch to an outfit also, it reminds me of macarons! Haha I'll be posting pictures of the procedures and the picture from tumblr.

Step 1: prep nails, make sure they are clean and cut to your preferred length.

Step 2: apply a base coat.

Step 3: apply your selected base shade. I used Sally Hansen's 08 Sorbet. Apply 2 coats.

Step 4: take a sponge and spread the other shade onto the sponge. I used Essie's To buy or not to buy.

Step 5: dab the second shade onto the tips of your nails and slowly work your way to the middle dabbing lightly as you go.

Step 6: Allow to dry for about a minute then sweep some top coat.I used Revlon's Quick Dry Top coat.
